Right now, I am working with Non-Profit Organizations on projects relating to LGBT Youth and Roma Children. If you are interested in helping either of these groups in need, please let me know.

Support LGBT Homeless Youth across Albania - STREHA Youth Shelter: First ever in the Balkans! Help Albanian youth who were turned away from their families and left homeless for being gay, lesbian, bi or trans. Often rejected by their communities, the situation in Albania is dire, and those who are sent away have little/no support to survive away from home. The head to the capital city of Tirana in search of shelter, food, support and help. Until recently, there was nothing to support them. Imagine that for a moment. Now imagine the first shelter of its kind opening in Tirana to support these youth. It opened late 2014 and has many youth in need already, yet funding is still extremely hard to come by. Out here a little can do so much. You can help keep this shelter running.

Support Young Roma Kids in Librazhd, Albania - Kampi Pa Emer/Camp No Name (Summer Camp for Roma/Romani Youth): Support the integration of local Roma children in my community here in Librazhd. In this Camp, Roma and non-Roma Albanians are encouraged to work together, embrace diversity, show respect and build new friendships. This extremely impactful (and unique) initiative has helped raise a new generation of Roma and non-Roma Albanian youth who have built memories and friendships together over the last 7 years of the Camp. Historically, the divide between these communities has been great in Albania, but through initiatives like this, there is hope for a better, more integrated community here.

LGBT Individuals in Albania - Want to be a part of the Albanian Civil Rights Movement? Various NGO's in Albania are working to support the LGBT Community here through Pride events, outreach strategies, advocacy work and grassroots efforts. JOIN THE FIGHT FOR LGBT EQUALITY! It's a reality, and it's already starting. People here need your love, help and support. A Pride parade here means a lot. One can only imagine what it was like back in the US in the early days of Pride parades. It is like that now out here in Albania. Please support our LGBT brothers and sisters out here.
